This web site is dedicated to promoting windsurfing in the North Florida, South Georgia area. Our Club has been in existence since 1985. We formed to make sure local windsurfers had access rights to local parks, rivers and the ocean. In 1985 a city commissioner was trying to ban windsurfing at Huguenot Memorial Park. Eighty or so windsurfers banned together, fought the commissioner and won. We now have a dedicated parking area on the beach at this park plus the city installed sail drying racks for us to use. It has been 12 years since that battle and windsurfing is doing well in Jacksonville. We Hope you explore our site.
