We encourage you to go to the library to verify that the photos below are "not fake" or altered in any way.  You can also look in American Windsurfer Volume 5, issue 1, 1997 which has reprints from that magazine and features a really good article on the origins of windsurfing.  It includes lots of photos not on this Website. That article features detailed and the chronological account of what Newman Darby when through trying to protect his invention.  This article is a "must read" historical item. This article sets the record straight in a big time way and it is done in a big time, over the counter magazine.  If you don't get American Windsurfer, subscribe! Its a great magazine and they are honest enough to say when they where wrong.  A rare commodity in today's journalism.
